According to a report by salary cap expert Miguel Benzan, the two sides quietly settled the matter earlier this offseason. As part of that settlement Jones has received $23,889 in cash, while the Patriots' salary cap was charged the sum of $4,778.
The grievance itself was filed toward the end of Jones' 2022 rookie campaign, after he was dealt a suspension by the team. Despite his productivity, off-field questions continued to follow the young defensive back.
