It's something you dream of, getting your first start in the NFL. I'm really excited to get out there with the guys, take advantage of having the full week to get prepared, and try to put my best foot forward to help the team win.
Jacoby, I think he did all he could. He battled his butt off and was a great leader. The biggest thing is it's a winning league. We're sitting here at 1-4, and I think those guys around here want to win.
Winning has proven to be a challenge for the Patriots. After an upset victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, they lost four straight games and now find themselves among the worst teams in football.
New England ranks 31st in the league while averaging just 12.4 points per game. A lack of offensive production is the primary reason for that.
