New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers has been placed on the commissioner's exempt list following his arrest on domestic violence charges, barring him from games.
Peppers was charged with multiple offenses, including assault and battery on an intimate partner and possession of a Class B substance, after a domestic incident at his home.
Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo acknowledged the situation, stating that the team is still gathering information on how to proceed with Peppers’ case moving forward.
While Peppers is on the exempt list, he can still participate in team meetings and workouts, but he cannot play or attend games.
