GM Joe Douglas becomes latest victim of Jets' underwhelming season
Briefly

"Today, I informed Joe Douglas he will no longer serve as the general manager of the New York Jets," Jets owner Woody Johnson said in a statement.
"I want to thank Joe for his commitment to the Jets over the last six years and wish him and his family the best moving forward."
Douglas was in the final season of the six-year deal he originally signed with the club in 2019. Under his leadership, the Jets went just 30-64 with no winning seasons or playoff berths.
Unless they manufacture a turnaround for the ages, they will miss the postseason for an NFL-worst 14th straight year.
