This event includes rings from various sports, with other former Patriots like Tully Banta-Cain and J.C. Jackson successfully selling their rings for significant sums. The auction highlights the value and interest in Super Bowl memorabilia, especially as former players sell items from their championship experiences to collectors and fans.

The ring was initially put up for sale as part of an extended offering from Heritage that featured 17 world championship rings across multiple sports being sold.
Blount's ring is currently up for sale on Heritage Auction - with the price tabbed at $122,000.
While Blount's ring remains on the market, a pair of former Patriots did sell off their Super Bowl rings as part of Heritage's event.
