Head coach Jerod Mayo announced that offensive tackle Caedan Wallace and center David Andrews are being placed on injured reserve, opening up two roster spots for the New England Patriots.
Andrews' injury comes as no surprise, as he suffered a shoulder injury in the recent loss to the 49ers and will undergo season-ending surgery, according to Mayo.
Caedan Wallace's transition from a backup to a starter was complicated by the team's juggling of players due to injuries, particularly with left tackle Vederian Lowe sidelined.
Despite Wallace's initial struggle in the starting role against the Jets and subsequent injury, Mayo noted there is a possibility he may return later in the season.
