Bill Belichick's UNC team reportedly lands docuseries deal after all
Briefly

Bill Belichick's North Carolina football program is finalizing an agreement with Hulu to air a docuseries. This follows a previous near-agreement with 'Hard Knocks' that did not materialize. Belichick's girlfriend reportedly influenced the decision by demanding content control and partial ownership of the show. Belichick later clarified that 'Hard Knocks' focuses on training camps, which does not align with his team's situation, emphasizing that their season dynamics do not match the show's format. He expressed that, even disregarding film issues, 'Hard Knocks' was not suitable for them.
Belichick described the situation by stating, "And the 'Hard Knocks' thing, you know, like, just for the record, 'Hard Knocks' is training camp. And we're not training camp. We're just not."
Belichick emphasized, "Like, we're a season, and they don't want that. The drama of training camp, the who's gonna cut and all that... the 'Hard Knocks' just didn't fit for us. That's the bottom line."
