Arm length not necessarily a dealbreaker for Patriots in the draft
Briefly

As the NFL Scouting Combine progresses, the New England Patriots are paying close attention to offensive linemen, especially tackles, to address their roster's biggest unknown. Candidates like Will Campbell, who may face measurement concerns, are being evaluated for their fit, especially since the team holds the fourth overall pick. Head coach Mike Vrabel emphasized the importance of arm length's practical application in performance over pure metrics, indicating a nuanced approach to their draft selection.
Vrabel explained on Tuesday, "I think that arm length is good only up until the point to where you use it. If guys are sitting there and they're catching or they're clamping or their hands are outside, they're not as long as maybe they would be if you punched."
With the need to address their offensive line, particularly the tackle position, the New England Patriots are closely observing highly-touted prospects such as Will Campbell, Kelvin Banks Jr., Armand Membou, and Josh Simmons.
