Cristall is probably the best player under 25 that the Caps have, showcasing elite skills including exceptional hands, vision, and passing ability.
Creating space for himself is a big question for Cristall, as his size and speed limit his options despite his strong skill set.
Due to CHL rules, Cristall will likely spend another season in the WHL, which may hinder his development before transitioning to professional play.
If he can hit his potential in the NHL, then the Caps have a future first liner on their hands.
