1047 Games has unveiled details about the upcoming open alpha for Splitgate 2, which runs from February 27 to March 2. Players can explore the vast Glacier map, capable of accommodating three teams in 8v8v8 matches, making it 20 times larger than previous maps. The alpha will also showcase two other maps, Bypass and Eden, alongside new game modes like Splitball and Firecracker. Cross-play support is included, and this alpha will represent only a fraction of the full game's content set to release later in the year.
