EA Sports has partnered with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) to integrate its teams and players into NHL 25, enhancing inclusivity in the game.
The PWHL will debut in NHL 25 on December 5, featuring all six teams and allowing players to utilize these teams in various gameplay modes.
Despite immediate availability issues with player likenesses, EA Sports commits to continually incorporating more PWHL players in future updates, fostering greater representation.
NHL 25 is also launching a major holiday update introducing the NHL Arcade event series, adding a fun, casual play mode reminiscent of classic arcade hockey games.
