Hershey Bears unveil new home and away jerseys ahead of 2024-25 season, add Washington Capitals' Weagle logo as shoulder patch
Briefly

"We're thrilled to unveil our new jerseys and refreshed look ahead of what should be another exciting season," said Hershey vice president of hockey operations Bryan Helmer in a release. "Our brand and the Chocolate and White color scheme are iconic, and these new streamlined jerseys celebrate our decorated history, while looking ahead to our bright future. I look forward to seeing these jerseys on the ice this season as we compete for a third consecutive Calder Cup title."
The Bears also reintroduced Washington Capitals' branding to their sweaters, adding their NHL affiliate's Weagle logo to the right shoulder. The Bears previously wore Capitals logo as a shoulder patch when they won back-to-back Calder Cups in 2009 and 2010.
Both sweaters feature new horizontal striping. The shoulder color now boldly contrasts from the rest of the sweater. The color cream, the background color of the team's crest, is now much more prevalent in the team's chocolate home jersey.
