"I told you guys I wasn't going to have any regrets about coming back and I don't,"
"Other than us not winning ... it's been an absolute blast for three weeks. If I go back and say, 'All Right, now you know everything's going to happen, what are you going to do?' I'd do it all again. It's been absolutely awesome. So, yeah, I mean, if it's the last one, it's the last one."
Philip Rivers was in Alabama when Colts coach Shane Steichen called and asked him to unretire and serve as an emergency starting quarterback. Rivers, 44, rejoined the Colts five years after retirement and took the majority of starting reps during the week. He started multiple games and holds an 0-3 record since returning. Rivers said he has no regrets and described the three weeks as an absolute blast despite the team not winning. The Colts were eliminated from playoff contention after the Texans' win, and the team is considering starting rookie Riley Leonard in the season finale in Houston.
