NFLPA elects White as interim executive director

David White has been elected as the interim executive director of the NFL Players Association, filling the position after Lloyd Howell Jr.'s resignation. White is the CEO of 3CG Ventures and has served as the leader of the SAG-AFTRA union from 2009 to 2021. He expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by the player leadership. White is committed to re-establishing trust within the union and ensuring it effectively serves its members.
"I am grateful to the NFLPA's player leadership for entrusting me with the privilege and responsibility to guide their union as interim executive director," White said in a statement.
"It's a duty I do not take lightly, and I'm committed to re-establishing trust and ensuring the union is serving its members effectively."
