Mixon back at practice, questions safety policies
Briefly

Mixon expressed his frustration about the NFL's inconsistency with fines, saying, "You got guys out here protecting themselves from hits and they are getting fined $45,000, and $50,000, and for an illegal hip drop tackle they're getting fined $16,000..." He highlighted the discrepancy in fines as an example of misplaced priorities within the league regarding player safety.
Frustrated with the lack of accountability, Mixon said, "I was the No. 1 leader in rushing. I was stopped because of that weak-ass hip-drop tackle. I can't do nothing about that. It's frustrating, it is what it is. I want to be out there more than anybody." His comments underscore the urgent need for the NFL to reassess its stance on player protection.
