Jags use 'pissed off' attitude to fuel blowout win
"We play better pissed off."
"'I think being pissed off kind of made people focus on their details, focus on what I have to come into this building and do. Maybe I have to come up earlier and get extra treatment. Maybe I have to do more studying. Maybe I have to be in the play book a little bit more. Maybe I have to study something differently, you know? I think that put more focus on everybody has"
Jacksonville entered the week angry after blowing a 19-point, fourth-quarter lead to Houston and used that emotion as motivation. The Jaguars beat the Los Angeles Chargers 35-6 at EverBank Stadium, holding Los Angeles to 135 total yards, the fifth-lowest in franchise history. Jacksonville did not punt for the first time since Week 2 of 2010 and ran the ball 47 times, the fourth-most in franchise history and the most by any team this season. The win came despite multiple key absences, and defensive end Josh Hines-Allen moved into first on the franchise sack list with his first-quarter sack of Justin Herbert.
