Inman: Cigar-smoking, beer-chugging Seahawks celebrate Super Bowl at Lumen South'
"It feels good to be back in here. I love this locker room, love this stadium, Darnold said. It's an unbelievable place."
"This is incredible. Surreal. The best moment of my life, Saubert said. It's insane. I'm so glad to be part of this team. These are all my best friends."
"It's taking everything in me not to start ripping stuff down in here. Come on, it's like torture for me."
Sam Darnold celebrated inside the 49ers' locker room after the Seattle Seahawks' 29-13 Super Bowl LX win over the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium. Darnold wore a SUPER BOWL LX CHAMPIONS T-shirt and cap and held a light beer. Seahawks tight end Eric Saubert and teammates smoked cigars, pounded beers, opened champagne, wore ski goggles, cranked music and posed with the Lombardi Trophy. The Seahawks led 9-0 at halftime and pushed the advantage to 19-0 before Patriots rookie Drake Maye threw two late touchdown passes while facing heavy pressure. Fred Warner reacted with visible frustration at seeing the rival celebration in his former locker room.
