"MIAMI GARDENS - Miami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller will return to practice this week as he works his way back from injured reserve. Waller will be designated for return at Wednesday's practice, coach Mike McDaniel said Monday. That will open up a 21-day practice window for him to get activated from IR ahead of one of the team's upcoming games, beginning with the New Orleans Saints at home on Sunday."
"Elsewhere, Dolphins offensive lineman Andrew Meyer could soon return to practice, according to McDaniel, but he didn't have a specific date. Meyer was hurt in training camp and has been on IR since. He made the team as an undrafted rookie in 2024 out of Texas-El Paso. McDaniel also said kicker Jason Sanders is "doing a great job getting healthier" as he has been on IR since the preseason."
Darren Waller will return to practice this week after a pectoral injury sustained Oct. 19 against the Cleveland Browns led to his placement on injured reserve. He will be designated to return at Wednesday's practice, which starts a 21-day window to be activated for upcoming games beginning with the home matchup versus the New Orleans Saints. Waller had 10 catches for 117 yards and four touchdowns in three games before the injury and received an extra week of recovery during the team's bye. Andrew Meyer and Jason Sanders are progressing on IR, while James Daniels has no timeline to return.
