After the Lions' victory over the Seahawks, Coach Dan Campbell felt 'awful' about not recognizing Jared Goff's record-setting performance, but later rectified it by awarding him a game ball.
Coach Campbell acknowledged Goff's impressive performance, saying, 'Yeah, we did, we found one... it was a great job. And (Lions offensive coordinator) Ben (Johnson) still got his, too.'
Goff's game was marked by an impressive 292 yards passing and two touchdowns, along with a 95.1 Total QBR, contributing to the Lions' 3-1 record.
Goff also displayed sportsmanship by giving away his first touchdown ball, launching it into the stands instead of keeping it, which Campbell noted as 'outstanding'.
