Bengals not ruling out Burrow return later in '25
""At least the next four weeks," Taylor said, referencing the time on the injured reserve list. "That's the best I can give you.""
""These guys have a lot of confidence in themselves and each other, a lot of confidence in Jake," Taylor said. "Our focus right now is being three and oh.""
Joe Burrow was placed on injured reserve and is expected to miss about three months after surgery to repair a turf toe in his left foot sustained Sept. 14. Bengals coach Zac Taylor did not rule out Burrow returning to the active roster later this season but said the injured-reserve absence will be at least four weeks. As of Wednesday afternoon, there was no timetable for when Burrow would have surgery. Burrow was injured during the first half of Cincinnati's 31-27 win over Jacksonville. Jake Browning will start the upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings as Cincinnati seeks a 3-0 start.
