Jones was a fifth-round pick in 2010 and recorded eight and a half of his ten career sacks during 2012-13. He sacked Colin Kaepernick and recovered a fumble in the Super Bowl. Jones later played for Indianapolis and Washington, finishing his career in 2017. He starred at Syracuse, setting an interior lineman record with 38.5 tackles for loss and earning first-team All-Big East honors twice. No cause of death was given. Ravens GM Eric DeCosta and Syracuse AD John Wildhack praised his positivity and support.
