Heat finally vindicated for decision to keep Kel'el Ware out of KD trade talks

Perhaps most importantly, the front office has to be breathing a sigh of relief after their decision to keep him out of trade talks for KD."

Kel'el Ware has emerged as a major positive, showing steady development and dominant recent performances. In his last three games he has averaged 25 points, 15 rebounds and 1.5 blocks while shooting 71 percent from the field and adding effective three-point shooting. Ware shows increasing offensive confidence despite occasional defensive lapses. The front office's choice to exclude him from Kevin Durant trade discussions now appears justified. A Durant acquisition would be appealing, but the cost of such a trade would be difficult to justify.
