The Miami Heat may not have much to play for the rest of the year, other than the right to get eliminated in the first-round of the NBA Playoffs, but it's imperative they figure out if a frontcourt duo of Bam Adebayo and Kel'el Ware is ever going to work. Perhaps more importantly, whether it's something that the Heat can keep building around heading into the future.
Kuminga is in his fifth season with the Warriors, but the past two years of his career have essentially amounted to a mutual waste of time. His strengths have been inadequately highlighted, his role has been limited, and his flaws have been unfortunately unresolved. Though fingers can be pointed in every direction, the unfortunate truth remains that Kuminga is a young and talented scorer with a career average of 20.3 points per 36 minutes who has never felt empowered to explore his potential.
Miami Heat center Kel'el Ware will be a part of the 2026 All-Star Weekend in Inglewood, Calif.! The second-year big was named to the NBA Sophomores team for the Rising Stars Game on Feb. 13, the league announced. Among his teammates will be Spurs' reigning Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle, Houston's Reed Sheppard, Memphis' Cam Spencer and Jaylen Wells plus Portland's Donovan Clingan.
