Clips' Jones helped off with apparent knee injury
""We won't know until he gets reevaluated; we're not quite sure right now," Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said of Jones' injury."
""It's tough," Harden said of Jones' injury. "It's like one after the next. You just try to continue to keep your head on straight, focus on what you can control and just go out there and come away with wins. Hopefully guys will start coming back sooner than later.""
Derrick Jones Jr. fell to the court and grabbed his right knee after colliding with a diving Jaylen Brown while reaching for a loose ball. Brown's arm struck Jones' leg, Brown was whistled for a foul, and Jones rolled in pain before slowly getting up and being helped to the locker room, barely putting weight on the leg. Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said the team will not know the extent until Jones is reevaluated. James Harden said injuries are piling up for the team. Jones has started all 13 games and averaged 10.9 points.
