On April 20, Midtown Manhattan will glow with a campaign by Zig-Zag and Cannabis Now Media to celebrate 420. This year's effort features a massive Zig-Zag billboard and various advertising initiatives across Times Square, aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding cannabis. Founder Eugenio Garcia emphasizes normalizing cannabis use. The campaign has expanded in scope, incorporating a historic exhibit of Zig-Zag's packaging and partnerships with popular figures, making it a multi-faceted celebration of cannabis culture.
"For many years, cannabis has remained in the shadows, but now it's time to change that. It's essential to normalize this plant."
The takeover-which also features street teams, creators and influencers-kicks off Monday and stretches over seven days for the One Times Square Billboard buy and four weeks for digital placements.
