Walmart is asking some delivery drivers to prove their identity - in person
Briefly

Walmart is instituting a system for some Spark delivery drivers to verify their identities by visiting a store with their driver's license. This initiative offers a $15 payment for those verifying their identity in person, as a response to reports of Spark accounts being misused by individuals operating under false names. The effort, described in an in-app message, aims to bolster security within their delivery service. Walmart states it is a pilot project in select areas, with plans to assess its impact before further implementation.

We're always looking at new and innovative security technology... This is a pilot we are testing in certain markets.
