Paris-based Alice & Bob taps NVIDIA CUDA-Q to give quantum simulations a speed boost - Silicon Canals
Briefly

Alice & Bob, a quantum computing startup based in Paris, has integrated NVIDIA's CUDA-Q platform with its Dynamiqs simulation library. This integration was announced at the NVIDIA GTC Paris keynote during VivaTech. CUDA-Q is designed for hybrid quantum-classical supercomputing, and its GPU acceleration allows for fast and scalable simulation of quantum systems. Dynamiqs, being an open-source library, enables researchers to conduct high-speed simulations of both open and closed quantum systems efficiently. This collaboration boosts simulation efficiency by up to 75x, facilitating practical breakthroughs in quantum research.
"CUDA-Q's GPU acceleration opens up new possibilities for fast, scalable, and intelligent quantum system design and analysis," says Tim Costa, senior director of Quantum and CUDA-X at NVIDIA.
"Simulation is a critical step in the development of useful quantum processors, allowing us to understand how these complex quantum systems behave," says Théau Peronnin, CEO of Alice & Bob.
