Fauna to shut down FaunaDB service in May
Briefly

Fauna, known for its NoSQL database service FaunaDB, has announced its decision to shut down the service by the end of May. The company cited the lack of capital necessary to sustain and market the database as the primary reason for this difficult decision. In an official blog post, Fauna requested all enterprise customers to transition their applications and data away from the platform prior to the sunset date, as all accounts and data will be permanently deleted thereafter.
"...after careful consideration, we have made the hard decision to sunset the Fauna service over the next several months," the company wrote in a blog post.
The company said all Fauna enterprise customers need to move their applications and data out of Fauna by that date, adding that after the specified date, all Fauna accounts and their associated data will be permanently deleted.
