If your bedroom doesn't have ample storage, sometimes you have to create it yourself - whether that's with under-bed bins, clothing racks, or IKEA closet hacks.
Yvonne and Michael, not ones to shy away from a renovation project, tore out the wall separating the old closet from the bedroom, borrowed space from a linen closet in the adjoining hallway to make their bedroom bigger, and then added a beautified IKEA PAX system.
Yvonne has a mural wallpaper in her bedroom behind the headboard - she calls wallpaper one of the best ways to go bold in a space.
Michael created similar doors (to the custom PAX doors they admired) using MDF sheets, hardboard, cane webbing, which costs about $615 for all five.
