This architectural project embodies two contrasting visions of learning: the upper floors emphasize open plans that foster mental exploration, while the lower floors connect learning to physicality through a twisting landscape.
The upper levels are designed with minimal structural constraints, promoting an environment where knowledge is approached as a cognitive journey, open to interpretation and personal appropriation.
In contrast, the lower levels engage users physically, reflecting a learning experience that is tactile and rooted in the body's interaction with the manipulated landscape of the building.
The innovative use of split and folded concrete sheets serves as a structural link between the light, open upper world and the dynamic, earthy lower terrains, symbolizing the balance between mental and physical learning.
