The developer Crescent Heights has submitted revised plans for the long-stalled residential tower project at 10 South Van Ness, which may finally proceed after years of delays.
Originally featuring 767 units, the revised project now includes 952 units, shifting to a family-friendly mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, accommodating a broader demographic.
The building's height will increase from 610 feet to 755 feet, marking a significant change under the state's density bonus law, further reshaping the city's skyline.
Crescent Heights was able to avoid building on-site affordable units by negotiating a land swap, transferring a piece of land to the city for affordable housing.
