Commissioner Vilda Vera Mayuga stated that without Way.com, many illegal garages would remain undiscovered, highlighting the platform's role in allegedly facilitating their operations.
In response to the city’s enforcement actions, Way.com claims to have removed unlicensed listings; however, city officials reported finding them still available online months later.
