I stayed in a bare-bones bungalow inside Kruger National Park. It was a good value, but I'm not sure I'd do it again.
Briefly

Satara Rest Camp, known for its wildlife sightings, offers an affordable but bare-bones experience. I would choose a lodge next time for comfort.
Driving to Satara was lengthy, but the drive was entertaining thanks to various wildlife sightings along the way, making the journey worthwhile.
The bungalow's traditional South African rondavel design provided decent space and rustic charm, though the twin beds were a bit uncomfortable for a good night's sleep.
Ultimately, my choice of Satara for its 'cat country' location was rewarding, as the park is celebrated for its lion, leopard, and cheetah populations.
