Con man who took over $2M NYC house with phony deed busted for same boneheaded scam - and judge isn't happy
Briefly

Danny Noble, a con artist from Baldwin, was indicted after fraudulently reclaiming a $2 million Brooklyn home, the same property he previously misappropriated years before. Noble filed a fake deed in September 2023, asserting ownership and attempting to gain a legal title through court. This marks a repeat offense, as he had previously been jailed for similar crimes involving multiple properties. Authorities discovered the scheme when the actual homeowner alerted them to the fraudulent deed, leading to Noble's arraignment and significant bail requests from prosecutors.
This is a property of which [Noble] previously admitted fraud, admitted fraud to you and thinking that we wouldn't pay attention - who knows - he did it again.
In September 2023, Noble falsely transferred the title of the home before filing a deed on Sept. 15, 2023 claiming to be the rightful owner.
