Trump's Border Czar Keeps Suggesting That AOC Broke the Law, So She Wrote to His Boss
Briefly

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez raised concerns in a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding potential political pressure on the Department of Justice. This follows remarks by Tom Homan, former Trump border czar, who suggested she could be investigated for hosting a webinar on immigrant rights with the Immigrant Defense Project. AOC defended the initiative, stating it served to inform migrants of their legal rights while challenging Homan's implication that it obstructed law enforcement. The situation raises significant concerns about the politicization of legal entities.
I write to request clarity on whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) has yielded to political pressure and attempts to weaponize the agency against elected officials whose speech they disagree with.
Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts? If so, what are we going to do about it? ... Maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now.
I am also aware the DOJ gives legal interpretations on issues like this to ensure ICE acts in accordance with the law.
