Governor Kathy Hochul is providing $412 million in funds for housing projects, creating and preserving around 1,100 affordable homes across various regions, including Brooklyn, Finger Lakes, and the Hudson Valley.
Specifically in Brooklyn, $170.3 million is allocated for the construction of Innovative Urban Village Phase 1a, providing 385 affordable homes in East New York, and $82.8 million for Marcus Garvey Extension Phase 2, with 178 affordable homes in Brownsville.
