State forced to step in to avert Election Day disaster in key NY battleground House district: 'Grave concern'

State elections officials dispatched nine staffers from Albany to Onondaga County to resolve a backlog of nearly 20,000 voter registration forms, deemed a grave concern.
With the assistance of the State Board of Elections, the backlog was resolved late yesterday. We remain onsite today to assist with additional processing tasks.”
Democratic Onondaga Elections Commissioner Dustin Czarny expressed his gratitude, stating, “I'm happy to have had cleared this backlog for the voters of Onondaga County.”
