The bloodshed began in Chelsea at about 9:19 p.m. on June 4, where a 21-year-old man was gunned down at the Robert S. Fulton Houses.
Cohen was apparently shot after a heated argument broke out among the gathering of people sitting at picnic tables in the complex courtyard.
The second shooting erupted at about 10:45 p.m. on June 4 in front of a 7-Eleven store in Midtown at 345 West 42nd St.
No arrests have been made in either case, and the investigation remains ongoing.
