Give up the lame 'resistance' theater - and GOVERN, Hochul
Briefly

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has declared her intention to resist President Trump’s policies which she claims adversely affect New Yorkers. However, this declaration appears to be more of a political tactic aimed at boosting her dismal approval ratings, as many New Yorkers feel more burdened by her own policies, including congestion pricing. Her inconsistent stance on Trump, shifting between portraying herself as an anti-Trump warrior and a pragmatic governor, reflects a deeper disconnect with voter sentiment, particularly given Trump’s improved support in New York. Critics argue her resistance is mere posturing for political gain.
"Once you draw first blood on us, you know we're coming back hard, and I will be leading the resistance on policies like these where you're hurting New Yorkers directly," she blathered Monday on NPR of President Trump's move to block her congestion pricing stealth tax.
"I've been asked countless (times) 'Are you leading the resistance?' - No, I'm governing the great state of New York," Hochul told reporters then.
"Actually, it's all posturing, like pretty much everything from this gov. She says whatever she happens to think will score her some insta-brownie points and prop up her dismal approval numbers."
"Were she serious, she'd be drastically out of step with what voters want: Trump won the presidential election convincingly and improved his support in New York state and city to historic levels by explicitly rejecting the prog politics at which Hochul's gesturing."
