"Dissatisfaction with the NYPD response to illegal parking is at 86 percent, confirming long-reported issues."
A recent analysis highlights the NYPD's poor performance in addressing non-emergency service requests via 311, with only 23% of residents satisfied last year, dropping to 20% recently. Data visualizer Jehiah Czebotar created a dashboard from his dissatisfaction with NYPD responses to illegal parking. The findings echo previous reports, showing that only 14% of citizens are satisfied with the NYPD's handling of illegal parking, and complaints about chronic speeding and red-light running receive similar low satisfaction rates. The NYPD only sees a slightly better response rate when asked about illegally parked vehicles blocking cars.
