Much of the New York political action is happening some 800 miles away from City Hall in Chicago at the Democratic National Convention, where prominent New Yorkers like Gov. Kathy Hochul and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries are actively participating.
Interestingly, Mayor Eric Adams' participation in the Democratic National Convention was limited, as he only arrived on the third day of the event, making for a relatively minor presence compared to other New York officials.
