In a shocking random attack in University Heights, Bronx, a 63-year-old woman was hospitalized after an unidentified man punched her, breaking her nose. The assault occurred on March 21 at around 3 p.m. while she was standing outside an apartment building. Following the attack, she fell and briefly lost consciousness. Emergency medical services transported her to Saint Barnabas Hospital for treatment. The NYPD has since released images of the suspect, who fled the scene in a blue coat and jeans, and they are urging anyone with information to come forward with tips.

According to police sources, the assault unfolded in front of an apartment building at 2260 University Ave. in University Heights at around 3 p.m. on March 21.
Officers from the 52nd Precinct responded to the incident. EMS rushed the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where she was treated for a broken nose.
On Saturday night, the NYPD released images of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a blue coat and jeans.
