Taveon Hargrove, a 23-year-old suspect involved in the violent mugging of an off-duty NYPD cop, was arrested in Virginia by U.S. Marshals. The incident, which left the officer injured and robbed of his service weapon, is under investigation as authorities prepare for extradition back to New York to face serious charges. Hargrove’s father was also arrested for using the cop's credit card, as officials continue to search for Hargrove’s accomplice who remains unidentified and at large. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch highlighted Hargrove's capture using the beaten officer's handcuffs.
