In Queens, NY, a tragic accident occurred involving 25-year-old Antonio Smith-Ortiz, who was riding his Honda moped. He was struck by a vehicle traveling the wrong way on 149th Avenue. The driver fled the scene after also hitting a parked van. Smith-Ortiz was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. As of now, no suspects have been identified, and police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
