Injuries reported as 3 cars crushed in serious multi-vehicle crash on Staten Island

A serious multi-vehicle accident occurred in Eltingville, Staten Island during rush hour, involving a Cadillac and an Audi SUV, leading to two hospitalizations. The collision happened around 4:15 p.m. when the Cadillac struck the Audi at an intersection, resulting in additional impact with a tree and a parked vehicle. The male driver of the Cadillac was critically injured, while the female Audi driver is in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing by the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad as traffic was heavily affected at this peak hour.
Both drivers were rushed by FDNY/EMS to Northwell Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze, where the male remains in critical condition and the female is currently in stable condition.
Shortly after the crash, the Audi SUV could be seen with its airbags deployed and significant front-end damage as it sat directly in the intersection.
