The Bronx-Manhattan Charter School Fair in South Bronx on March 23 attracted hundreds of families seeking educational opportunities. Featuring 45 booths staffed by charter school representatives, the event allowed parents to engage directly with school administrators. Organizers from amNY and Bronx/Riverdale Family provided a platform for sharing vital information about school applications and enrichment programs. Participants expressed appreciation for the community-building opportunities, highlighting the importance of collaboration among schools and the personal connections made with families exploring educational options for their children.
"The Expo was so good and thanks amNY and Bronx/Riverdale Family for organizing it," said Rachelly Crime, Senior Director of Operations at Capital Prep Bronx, adding she was "able to engage with families interested in our school."
"We truly appreciate the opportunity to have been part of the event... It was also a great chance to engage with other schools and strengthen connections within our community," said Tenee Hall Jones, Director of Operations at Capital Prep Harlem.
