Trance Records has launched its first-ever EP 'vacation' by rising artist tahjii, who showcases his musical journey that began with piano lessons from his grandmother. With influences from his roots in Queens and experiences at prestigious institutions, tahjii created this introspective work entirely on his own. The EP merges genres such as indie alternative and experimental rock, reflecting his personal exploration through music. Talia Goddess, founder of Trance Records, emphasizes her commitment to empowering young Black artists through authentic music like 'vacation,' which is seen as a significant milestone for the label.
