An illegal after-hours nightclub situated in a basement at 90 Nagle Ave. in Inwood was recently raided by the NYPD after being linked to local robberies. The Vice Enforcement Division arrested seven individuals, including the club’s alleged manager Rafael Reynoso, who faced multiple charges. The nighttime operation, filled with around 80 people, was uncovered during a police raid around 5:15 a.m. on March 1. In addition to the arrests, three loaded firearms were found, raising concerns about safety in the area given its proximity to a school.
During the raid, law enforcement sources said, cops made seven arrests as several individuals, including employees at the club, attempted to push their way through the crowd and make their getaway.
Cops said the illegal nightclub operated out of a basement at 90 Nagle Ave. in Inwood, nestled in an unassuming building across the street from a school and below a hair salon.
