Judge Judith "Judy" Sheindlin celebrated the 100th anniversary of her high school, James Madison, with a performance of its fight song alongside fellow alum Concetta "Aunt Chippy" Potenza. They performed at a gala event in Las Vegas, highlighting their pride in their school, which has notable graduates like Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Chris Rock. Sheindlin humorously noted the lasting impact of childhood memories, reliving a moment of youthful joy as they sang together. The event also served to support brain health research, connecting alumni with important causes.
"It's amazing how certain things that you learn in your childhood remain etched in your brain forever," said the jurist. "For a brief moment, Chippy and I were 15 again!"
Sheindlin expressed her joy in celebrating her alma mater's centennial, humorously remarking, "I'm so happy that something older than I am is still around."
