Bojangles is set to open its first restaurant in East Flatbush, NYC this winter, marking its return to the area since the 1980s. The chain plans to establish 19 more locations in New York City within the next ten years, along with 35 locations in New Jersey. The expansion is spearheaded by Hashimi Holding Corporation. The brand aims to provide Southern-style chicken and biscuits to the Northeast while offering franchising opportunities to entrepreneurs. CEO Jose Armario emphasizes the importance of supporting franchisees in the company’s growth strategy.
"It's a monumental moment, now that we're entering the New York Metropolitan area again," said Jose Armario, CEO of Bojangles. "The East Coast is craving the authentic, Southern charm that Bojangles delivers, and we're excited to introduce locals to something new."
"Supporting and leading our franchisees to success is fundamental to our mission as a brand, and we couldn't be more excited to see what this next chapter holds," Armario said.
